Clackamas Women’s Services Welcomes New Tenured Board Member with Background in Spiritual and Social Services

Oregon City, Ore., August 29, 2016 Clackamas Women’s Services, which provides comprehensive support to survivors of domestic violence in Clackamas County, today announces the addition of Julie Dir-Muñoz to its Board of Directors. Dir-Muñoz has a background in organizational leadership and spiritual care and will serve as a community ambassador and bridge between Clackamas Women’s Services and Providence Milwaukie Medical Center and Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center.

“Clackamas Women’s Services is carrying out wise, compassionate, and well-organized work to help vulnerable people, says Dir-Muñoz. “I am excited to partner with an organization that helps community members heal and thrive.”

Dir-Muñoz has worked at Providence Medical Centers in Multnomah and Clackamas Counties for the past seven years in various roles. She currently serves as the Director of Mission Integration at Providence Milwaukie Medical Center and Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center, where she provides strategic consultation, mission expertise, and guidance to executive and leadership teams. She holds a Master of Arts in Theology from the University of Portland and she has experience providing social and educational services to at-risk children and youth.
