Clackamas Women's Services will accept any used cell phone for recycling. We also accept used ink jet cartridges (please no toner cartridges).

We sell these phones to a vendor and receive between $1-15 for each cell phone. This revenue goes toward giving our case workers cell phones for their safety.

CWS also has a "Hope Phone" program. Through this program, the cell phone company provides us with phone with approximately 300 minutes on them. We give these phone to women who are needing a safe, secure way to restart their lives.

Finally, we keep approximately ten phone on hand at all times to give out as 911 phones for women in danger.

When donating phones, do not feel they need to be working or that you need to include all accessories. Phones destined for recycling will go to "sale" without any accessories (we are required to throw away all cases, etc.)

We are also in need of gift certificates for pay-as-you-go/ Cricket phones, or other phones with pre-loaded minutes, so that our housing participants can keep up on phone bills during their job search.
