What Women Need to Know about Divorce |
Explore the legal, financial, psychological, and social issues of divorce and discover community resources available to help. Talk to other women experiencing similar life changes, and receive professional advice from experts. There is a $45 fee to cover materials and snacks, but this can be waived if approved in advance. |

Free Mammograms |
Women without health insurance can now get free mammograms in the east Portland area. Adventist Medical Center received a $50,000 grant from the National Breast Cancer Foundation and they have decided to use the money for free exams. An Adventist spokesperson says it's an answer for a growing population without adequate health coverage. |
Women 40 years and older who do not have health insurance and have not had a mammogram in more than one year should call Adventist at (503) 251-6245. |
