Community Support Groups

CWS offers an ongoing domestic violence support group located at Clackamas Community College on Wednesday evening from 6-7:30pm in DeJardin Hall Room 206. Attendance in this group is confidential The time and location of the group are non-confidential. The presence of polic on campus allows us to make this a non-confidential location and still maintain safety at all times.

CWS offers confidential, ongoing support groups for survivors of domestic violence. These groups are run by experienced, trained volunteers. Because the groups are confidential, interested people must complete an initial phone screening to make sure the group is a good fit. If you are interested in attending, please contact our crisis and support line at (503) 654-2288.

CWS does not currently offer support groups for survivors of sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse. We hope to offer this services again in the future. We feel there is a great need for this kind of service in Clackamas County, and very few resources are available. If you currently are looking for these services you might try:

At this time we offer individual and family counseling for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault including childhood sexual abuse to only a limited number of participants. Individual counseling for children may be offered when appropriate. These services are confidential and free to those who qualify.
