CWS greatly appreciates the efforts of individuals and groups that take the time to organize events on our behalf, raising funds and also awareness. Additionally, by investing in CWS, organizations and companies show the community how much fun it can be to join in and help others.
Our Community Fundraising efforts usually consist of two areas: in-kind donation drives and proceed events (such as a business donating a portion of a day’s sales, a church passing around a special collection or a group putting on an event that directly benefits CWS).
In order to streamline these fundraising efforts, and to provide the best support to those community members that are helping CWS, we kindly request that you review and fill out the following form: Community Event Fundraising Guidelines.
Once you have your form complete, please e-mail the form to our Development Director, Chris Wilhite, firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will inform you of the approval status of your proposal in a timely manner. On occasion, decisions may need to be reviewed at the CWS Board of Directors monthly meeting.
Clackamas Town Center Makes “Cents” for CWS
The next time you stop by one of the fountains at Clackamas Town Center (CTC) mall you may notice the coins in all those fountains. These coins are regularly collected and donated to CWS and are proof that no matter how much you give, big or small, you can make wishes come true for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Thank you to CTC and the community for the $8900 that was collected in 2013.
