Welcome to Clackamas Women's Services

Our mission is to foster self-empowerment of women and children so they can

establish lives free of domestic and sexual violence.

We're Gearing Up for

the CWS Holiday Store!

The holidays are just around the corner and our 2011 Holiday Store is getting ready to take in new toys and goodies! Last year CWS was able to support 100 families with personalized holiday gifts and we are excited to do it again. The Holiday Store empowers participants by getting to hand-select gifts fit for their individual children, and requires the help of generous community members to help stock the Holiday Store with fantastic items! If you are you a part of a social meet-up, church organization, school club, or other group that would like to sponsor CWS in a holiday drive, please alert hannahh@cwsor.org so we can provide support- we truly appreciate all of our community partners! Clackamas Women's Services is one of the...

Clackamas Women’s Services (CWS) affirms the right of every person to live a life free of violence.  We honor differences among women & children and make our services accessible to individuals who face discrimination for any reason.

We provide safety, shelter, information and advocacy to increase women & children’s access to medical, legal and social services.  We work toward the empowerment of all women & children to control their own lives, and encourage the individuals who use our services to make their own life choices.

We recognize that violence against women & children is a widespread and deep-seated societal problem.  We actively advocate social change and educate the community about the impact of domestic & sexual violence.  We support a coordinated community response to family violence, which holds abusers accountable.

Since 1985, CWS has been the only non-profit organization in Clackamas County dedicated to ending domestic and sexual violence against women and children. During this time we've touched the lives of more than 70,000 women, children and community members through our programs and services.

Find us on Facebook and keep up with news stories, events,

and other activities to empower your day!
