SUMMARY:Training: Dynamics of Stalking (Facilitated by CWS Staff)
DESCRIPTION:This is either a standalone training or part of a packaged workshop from the YWCA of Greater Portland. \nThis workshop covers the definition and signs of stalking behavior\, the various relationship dynamics in which a person may experience stalking\, the ways that society normalizes stalking\, and the support systems/resources a person may access when experiencing stalking. Participants will walk away with practical knowledge and ideas for how to address stalking and create a safer environment for all. This session helps fulfill training requirements for certified advocate-victim privilege in Oregon (ORS 40.264). To sign up for this workshop\, go to ywcapdx.org/events or contact Shay Braden at YWCA of Greater PDX – sjp@ywca@ywcapdx.org. Registration for this workshop is priced on a sliding scale as part of YWCA of Greater PDX’s training structure. For any questions regarding registration\, sliding scale\, work-trade opportunities or accessibility needs\, please contact Shay Braden at sjp@ywcapdx.org or ‪971-358-6227.

Abuse tactics could be financial\, emotional\, spiritual\, psychological\, verbal\, sexual\, as well as physical abuse. The person being abusive could be an intimate partner\, a family member\, friend\, co-worker\, or stranger. This could have happened very recently or something that occurred a while ago. SUMMARY:Adult Support Group
DESCRIPTION:This group is for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Domestic violence can include many different types of abuse.
