Training

CWS offers training that helps attendees understand the dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault and provides tools to help volunteers, service providers and other professionals become effective advocates for survivors.

Sessions are offered throughout the year, covering a range of different topics associated with domestic violence, sexual assault, advocacy, or oppression.  Attendees can register for trainings by session, or they can register for a full series which includes 15 sessions (topics required to complete the state-mandates as well as 3 topics of choice).

Please note:

We currently have limited volunteer opportunities and are not accepting any new volunteers for our direct service opportunities at this time. We suggest checking out United Way of the Columbia-Willamette and Clackamas County Volunteer Connection for other local opportunities.

We sincerely appreciate your interest in wanting to volunteer for CWS and encourage you to sign up for our volunteer listserv to be notified about our future volunteer opportunities. If you would like to be on the listserv, please email Josie Greer at josieg@cwsor.org
