Rural Outreach services are available through our satellite offices in Sandy and Estacada and in partner facilities in Canby and Molalla. This program brings services out to areas that have traditionally been more isolated. This makes it possible for survivors living in rural areas access to the same services that are available at the CWS office and at our shelter.
Additionally, CWS staff is collaborating with many community partners to build bridges that help empower survivors with support systems that are already familiar. Coordinated Community Response programs allow us offer education and provide tools to first responders as well as other community and faith-based advocates so they can be equipped to effectively serve the survivors who need their support.
Rural Outreach services encompass all the programs available through our main office including
- Housing advocacy and support
- Referrals to CWS and other agency services
- Youth Prevention presentations
