Domestic Violence Advocacy Training

Clackamas Women’s Services’ Domestic Violence Advocacy Training Program is designed to increase consistency of services, proficiency, and skill in responding to survivors of domestic and sexual violence.  Sessions can be taken as a full 45-hr series, or in 3-hr. drop-in sessions.  The full training program explores the complexity of survivors’ experience and considers options for holistic response. Sessions are comprised of lecture, discussion, practical application, and supplementary reading.  The program is open to anyone who wants to learn more about domestic violence and how to respond, particularly appropriate for social service providers, case workers, advocates, and counselors/therapists.
