Training

CWS offers training that helps attendees understand the dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault and provides tools to help volunteers, service providers and other professionals become effective advocates for survivors.

Sessions are offered throughout the year, covering a range of different topics associated with domestic violence, sexual assault, advocacy, or oppression.  Attendees can register for trainings by session, or they can register for a full series which includes 15 sessions (topics required to complete the state-mandates as well as 3 topics of choice).

To attend sessions as a volunteer, you must first complete the application/interview process and receive an invitation from our Bradi at bradigs@cwsor.org
